There are few things better than walking into a place and immediately feeling a great vibe. That totally happened when my friend and I set foot into Mediterraneo. As you walk in, there's a nice bar with seating, but for the dining room you head a little further back where you will get a nice greeting. What immediately becomes apparent is that this place is a throwback. There's old-school decor, and old-school portion sizes too! We started off with the stuffed calamari, and it was delicious. The sauce was too good not to dip our delicious bread into it. Next up, garlic soup. I had never heard of that, but don't threaten me with a good time! It was delicious ... brothy, a little garlicly, and has some egg in it. My friend had the chicken noodle and said it was good. After the apps we had the squid ink paella, and then finished off with the flan for dessert. Wonderful, all of it. We will be coming back.
My first time visiting was indeed a great impression. It captured my heart the second I walked into the dinning room. I felt I was back home, with a view to the yard and the smell of the delicious food. We ordered a nice bottle of Spanish red wine, Ribera del Duero. Of all the appetizers and main dishes served, I also ordered grilled octopus.... Let me tell you, I had years I did not have such a delicious, tasty and tender octopus... It brought back good memories. I literally cried of happiness. If you like octopus, I suggest you ask for some "guindilla" or red chilli pepper to serve on top or on a side. The service? The best. Very welcoming staff. The place is clean, especially the restrooms! Yes, some indicate that if the restrooms are clean, the kitchen is better! I hope you enjoy too. Salud y muy buen provecho!

This food was INSANELY GREAT. We can with a a small party and the staff was so hospitable and accommodating! The food was hot, delicious and more than I expected. Fantastic experience!
